Check for updates

Update InFlow using the same method you used to install it. InFlow does not install updates automatically.

Check the installed version

inflow --version
inflow auth status

Upgrade with Homebrew or rerun the hosted installer: https://inflowcli.ai/

The first command shows your installed version. The second checks your sign-in status and can show an update notice like the example above. If the release check is unavailable or disabled, you will not see a notice. You can still use the commands below to check for and install an update.

Choose your update method

Run the installation command again to install the latest release.

Run this command again to upgrade.

Reconnect your agent after updating

Restart the InFlow MCP connection in your agent application, or restart the application itself. This lets the agent load the updated CLI and its tools.
